The mix of education, prevention and reactive care ensures customers of The Human Link that employees and customers receive the best possible environment when it comes to stress and trauma.
One type of customers are fire departments which The Human Links supports in coping with post traumatic stress. The Human Link is available when a shop gets robbed to assist both the staff and the customers involved. They help managers and teams to cope with situations that could affect their mental wellbeing at work. The Human Link offers training to employees on stress reduction as well. Founder of The Human Link, Tine Daeseleire, has been the expert on Viva Victoria, a program on Flemish television that helped people to deal with their fears and to stop their phobias dominating their lives.
The Human Link depends on ICT for the complete administration, course registration, patient follow-up, ... Most of its communication happens over e-mail and phone. The knowledge to ensure the quality that makes this organisation so respected, is stored in their computer systems.

Due to the presence of sensitive data, much attention has been given to security, availability and support. A customized backup system has been brought in place. A voice system was installed at the headquarters of The Human Link and recently a project was initiated by ict4me to lower the costs of both mobile and fixed telephony.
